Easter

Easter was just like all the other holidays with toddlers, FUN! We had a little egg trail to his basket. We put a pile in his room by his crib and when we went in there Easter morning he said "What's that" of course, because that's what he ALWAYS says. We got him out and he immediatly grabbed his dump truck and started on the trail loading up the eggs as he went. When he got to his basket he said "What's that", looked around for a bit and then continued playing with the eggs. OH the eggs, once he found out the goodness inside there was no stopping.
Dump Truck with Eggs Eating the Duck, he then figured all ducks were chocolate.....he tried to eat his rubber duckies....very dissapointing.

Easter egg hunt....
His basket got so full, he could barely carry it.. so he decided to drag it

Baby Animals

Briggs loved all the baby animals but he seems to have a new fascination with birds. He love love love loves them. Anywhere we go he's looking in the sky, trees, grass, etc. for birds. Let me tell you Wal-mart is the best place to find them. We've even found them on occasion inside. He can spot them from a mile away. Must get this from Grandpa Darrell, he'll have to fine tune those eyes though for birds of a different nature and big game. He does keep a look out for the deer across the street though. Anyways....he loved every minute of looking at the animals, it's just too bad it was so mucky and muddy outside. He has the attention span of his dad though....there isn't any. He just ran, looked quick, said wow and moved on unless of course it was a bird.

Trent bought him some frogs and he loves them. He always points up on his dresser and says fish. We correct him and say frogs and he shakes his head as if upset he got it wrong again and says "oh yeah frog". So cute!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRENT!!

I want you to know how much Briggs and I love you and appreciate all your hard work. You are truely the best Dad to Briggs he almost falls over from running so fast to the door when I tell him your home. The best thing for him is talking to you on the phone if it's anyone one else he wants nothing to do with it. You are also the best Husband a girl could ask for you give me the opportunity of staying home with our little boy everyday and for that I'm so grateful. Even though you work so hard you're always there when I need you and listen, you make me a better person and bring me back to reality when I get stressed over the dumbest things. You want nothing but the very best for all of us and achieve that everyday. I seriously couldn't be happier.

WE LOVE YOU SO VERY MUCH!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE!

....Everything......

Well...better late than never I guess. We just got busy having fun during the holidays that I never got around to blogging anything then after the holidays I just haven't felt like it yet seems I would rather get my house back together, clean, relax and just play with Briggs.

SLEDDING:
We went up to a friends cabin a few weekends ago to go sledding and just hang out. We had fun and discovered it's best to let the sledding trail be blazed several times before taking Briggs down. He got plastered in the face, and was very upset. I wish we would have had some pictures of it, rude I know. So the sledding didn't last very long but it was still fun.

BOWLING!!!Briggs liked hanging out with his cousins and pushing the ball. It's so hard to keep him happy and content though during everyone elses turn without him wanting to be right in the middle of the lane or running down it. We finally got him some runts to keep him occupied.Trent & Briggs Grandma L. holding Briggs holding Gage
Briggs has a new love of babies. He loves to hold them and kiss their cheeks and some times lips but he's learned only on the cheeks. Gage got uncomfortable with the way Briggs was holding him and when we took him away Briggs cried and cried. Later in the day he wanted to hold one of the other babies in the family and put on the biggest puppy dog face to hold her.
He thinks he's such a big boy.
EATING OUT: way to much We ate out at Friedricko's one day with my fam and Briggs insisted on the need for two drinks. Of course he got his way and held them both so nobody would take them.
What a Kid!

CHRISTMAS:
Our Christmas was nothing but perfect. We had a lot of fun with Briggs this year and he thought he was in heaven. He got totally spoiled and we now can't even enter his room most days without having to wade through it all.
Christmas with the Lovelands. Briggs loves his Sit and Spin, he's starting to figure it out better. It has more uses than you know though, one being a stool. Going through his stocking with dad and finding all of his favorites. We came across this santa hat one day while shopping and he had to put it on and then had to take it home, he loved it. Christmas with the Hunsaker's. He of course got a pop gun from Grandpa and a drum set from Rachael. He LOVE LOVE LOVE's playing the drums. Just give him a 1,2,1,2,3,4 and he's jamming away.
SO COOL! Thanks Aunt Rachael!

We played and played and playedAnd then felt like this.
(Christmas eve he got so exhausted he climbed up on Kyle's lap and was out. So not Briggs to fall asleep anywhere but his crib and carseat. He was so exhausted.)
