The past month has gone by way to fast I can't believe it. We've been working in the yard lots, trying to get things ready for winter and picking apples and grapes. Oh apples and grapes, they equal canning......I really don't like doing it but I hate seeing it all go to waste. When you see all those jars in the end it's worth it. I actually still need to do our apples tomorrow. It was going to be yesterday, then today, but definitley will be tomorrow. ;)

Giving Quando "Loves", Quando really looks thrilled about it.Working with Trent

We went to Willow Park a few weeks ago and Briggs loved every minute of it. Birds are his new fascination(go figure that's pretty much all they have anymore). We were walking out of a store the other day and Briggs was yelling, pointing and crying about something. I thought he had dropped something, nope he spotted a little bird inside by the doors that couldn't fly. We had to watch it for like 10 minutes he laughed and laughed when it would tweet at him luckily some guy finally came and put it outside so we could leave and not have Briggs throw a fit. On the way to the car he kept spotting birds and would laugh as they would fly away. What A Kid!

Briggs is learning things so fast now, recently he learned that in order to get what he wants that he can't reach and mom won't give him he needs to only move a chair and climb on it. Yeah it scares me to death some of the places i've found him. He's becoming more independent, instead of yelling for me he just does it himself like when I found him this morning on top of his highchair tray. He was just surfing away on it, those things are not the sturdiest by any means. Briggs has also been beating himself up like crazy lately. First he fell down our front steps and skidded face first. This was a few days later so all you can really see is the skid mark on his eyelid. This picture it's hard to see but he has a huge fat lip. We went to visit Trent's sister Wendy and Briggs fell down the stairs. He cut that little piece of skin inside your mouth on the top front of your mouth(make sense). It bled like crazy and made me very queasy. Then the next day in church he broke it open again on the windowsill and it bled some more. Anytime he would bump it in that spot his it would swell up. It is finally starting to heal up but it was yucky looking.

Heather-
I'm so glad you found our blog. Now I found you!! Don't worry about the nursery thing. Briggs will do better when the darn 2:30 thing is over. It's hard for kids in the afternoon huh! Only 2 more months:)
