We don't have much to update about we've just been getting ready for Christmas. We love this time of year, nice break from school and more time with those we love. It's been fun watching Briggs experience things for the first time, well at least the first time he cares. He loves standing by the trees and looking at everything on them. He has suprisingly been really good about not touching. He also loves all the lights everywhere, in his words "WOW WOW"! Of course he loves all the goodies. I do think maybe he's going to think it's a bad thing to open presents though. I put out a few presents on Sunday and of course when we weren't looking he tried opening one. Trent heard him and went in and kinda scared him, patted his hand, and told him no. He cried, he really cried. We've only seen this a few times, he was so sad, tears and all. He doesn't even go near them anymore and wouldn't even help Grandma open her present. So I guess we'll see on Christmas. I'm sure he'll start and want to do everbodies. He also likes the snow and helping Trent shovel until his hands get to cold. I need to go find him some heavy gloves. Other than just enjoying this time of year we haven't done much of anything worth blogging about. We did get some much needed pictures taken, we haven't had any for a very long time it seems. They turned out great even though Briggs was the biggest stinker that day. Isn't that how it always works though. Shaun(Trent's Brother-in-law) did such a good job with such a naughty boy and the girls helped so much trying to get Briggs to look and be happy. THANKS we LOVE them(pictures) and you!
