WHAT!......11 Months

I can't believe our little man is 11 months old already. He's growing up way to fast. We feel like we can't get enough. Briggs is still all boy and getting into everything he can manage to.

So what's new with Briggs:

*He's back to snuggling! He hasn't been a big snuggler since he was like 2 months but lately he's been all about it and so have we. I love when he climbs up on my lap and lays his head on my shoulder, I think it's because I started tickling his back at church to get him to settle down so now he wants his back tickled all the time.
*Loves his back rubbed and tickled
*Throws tantrums, WHAT THE!!??? I didn't think this would start for a while but he literally will yell at us that's right yell. After he feels he has vocalized his frustrations enough he will throw himself on the ground and bury his face, and throw an all out fit. It makes me so sad.
*Learned how to clap his hands, his favorite time to clap is while watching me workout. He's quite the motivator.
* Can do jumping jacks, well kinda he just does the arm part. Funny, Funny
* Completely off baby food, yea! He's never really like the stuff so we started early on "big boy" food and are now completely done with baby food.
* He's starting to really watch what we say and do. He likes to repeat what we say, he doesn't retain the words but he will repeat it once. So we've really had to start watching ourselves, he understands alot now.
* He loves loves loves Quando(dog).
* Loves his forward facing car seat, ssshhh don't tell we started kinda early he was just too big.
* Still loves his daddy more than anything in the world! Trent has to hold him for at least 10 minutes when he gets home before putting him down or he throws a fit(Briggs that is).
* When we say stinky stinky he waves his hand in front of his nose.
* He wants to stand up all by himself without the help of something. He will rock back and forth until he gets up enough energy to propel himself forward onto his knees. So once the rocking is over he gets forward enough and just on his calves one of two things happens, usually he will just fall forward because he has to much energy or he will stand on his knees and rock for awhile and try to stand with no luck. but both ending with him on his belly. It is truly hilarious to watch, he just does it over and over and over for like 30 minutes. Rock, rock, rock , rock. He is very independent.

Here are some pictures of Briggs doing what he does best:
Getting into some real predicaments:Not much has been going on around here just loving the days that it's warm and of course house and yard work. Our family room is still not done it's just waiting to be taped and mudded but we've put that on hold while we do some things in the yard. We have hauled like 5 loads off and still have so much more to do. We tore out the waterfall and pond we had because it was Ghetto looking and have turned it into a raised flower bed. I totally forgot to take before pictures but here is some half-way after pictures, we're not done yet.
Well it's raised on one side.

Trent's Grandpa Sievers came down a few weeks ago, Briggs sure does love him!

Heather,

I found your blog and had to tell you how cute your little guy is. Aren't they so fun! Kaden throws fits too and it makes me so mad :) but at the same time I am trying to not laugh. Good to "see" you.
